Wall of the Novgorod Kremlin

The full length of the walls of the Novgorod Kremlin is 1780 m. The walls are made of limestone and cobblestone, lined with brick. The height of the walls is from 8 to 12 m, thickness 4-6 m. Brick external and internal walls have brick joints with internal masonry. Below you can see a cannon loophole for plantar combat, built in the 16th century.
