The wall walk is wide, you can easily move with a squeak and a duffel bag with fire supplies without really interfering with anyone. After construction, the battlements had the shape of a swallowtail in the Venetian fashion (they say the famous Venetian architect Fryazin took part in the construction of these walls). The passage is covered with a roof - a “hail roof” from bad weather. During the period of military readiness, the roof over the wall and the over the towers were dismantled for fire safety reasons.
