Old and new - the wall near the Spasskaya Tower

The base of the wall, the ancient masonry and the rusty reinforcement that strengthens the wall are clearly visible. On the right is brickwork of modern times. In April-May 1991, about 70 m of wall between the Spasskaya and Knyazha towers collapsed. In 1994-96, the wall was restored as a hollow brick structure on a concrete foundation.
