Pokrovskaya (Intercession) Tower and Gate Church of the Intercession

As can be seen from the photograph, it is set flush with the inner plane and protrudes strongly beyond their front line, thus having a significant flanking effect. It has 3-meter walls and many cannon and rifle embrasures. The church dates back to the 14th century, but was repeatedly rebuilt and reconstructed in subsequent years and centuries.
