The Kokuy Tower has a height of 41 m, and it is the tallest tower of the Novgorod Kremlin. It has 6 floors, and the lowest one housed a wine cellar for the needs of the archbishop. There were also government chambers, and at the very top there was a lookout for reviewing and monitoring the area to see if Tatars, Poles or, God forbid, Muscovites were coming...
