Bell tower

Bell tower

Bell tower was erected in 1523. It's bells preservs from the old times and were not used as scarp metal in 1930-th, as it was occurred in all other Russian monasteries. There are 3 ton weight bell donated by Ivan the Terrible in 1562, 2 ton weight bell donated by Boris Godunov in 1590 and 4 ton weight bell donated Peter the Great in 1690. There is a curious system of bells sing. A swinging a bells are made by special cross-beam controlled by fall from the earth. This is unique a bell tower construction in all Russia I reckon.
