Fighting street

Open gallery on the top of the block is called a "fighting street". Embrasures for rifles are visible in the picture. The battery was built in 1896. Two armour-plate breastworks (Lancaster of 3 guns and Berd of 6 guns) were dismounted during this battery construction.
