Battery's embrasures

Embrasure's construction is on the photo. Granitic stone breastwork is covered by armoured plates 188-250 mm thick. The Granitic stones where taken from stonepits in Peterlaks (Finland). All the 114 stones of the breastwork where beveled and adjusted here, on the battery construction site. Bonding elements for gun's carriages are seen on the photo.
