Old ship's cemetery

Near the batteries there is a small cemetery of dead ships, which the local population is dismantling into various useful parts. The picture shows the mortal remains of the base minesweeper. The minesweeper, as it should be, is built mainly of wood and plywood with a minimum of metal parts in order to protect itself from magnetic mines. There were as many as three such minesweepers...
