New prison (3rd Corps)

It was built in 1881-1884 using the latest state-of-the-art prison technology. It has 40 single cells. Furthermore, it is called Narodovolcheskaya (Narodnaya Volya - The People's Will) Jail because its first residents were members of the military-revolutionary organization Narodnaya Volga, convicted in the Case of the 14 in 1885.
