Landscapes of Sveaborg fortress

View from Länsi Mustosaari Island in the western direction. The barracks are visible on the right, the 1762 bakery building mentioned above is on the left. In its basement there was a granary, on the 2nd floor the apartments of the baker. The bakery was severely damaged by shelling of the Allied fleet of Sveaborg during the Crimean War and was subsequently rebuilt. In the foreground are the ramparts of batteries built in the 1860s.
