Quarter compartment

The crew of the boat consists of 24 men and there were only 12 bunks (common deal in submarines). The bunks for engine crew is on the photo. They are near to engine compartment and it was very problematically to rest here because of engine's clatter and vibrations, so it was a place of punishment.
