Fauna of Vallisaari Island

Due to that long isolation from civilization there are diverse endemic flora and fauna on the island. It is very vulnerable and can bite, so it strongly not recommended and even prohibited to get off marked roads, not to disturb the natural balance and not lose the your Finnish visa. This snake lives directly on the island's pier.
