Courtyard of battery No. 6

The battery was built in the early 1870's. in the form of a huge artillery blockhouse that has the semicircular shape. The gun was originally placed in the casemates with loopholes of construction similar to the fortification of Fort Alexander in Kronstadt Russia). The installation also housed powder cellars, barracks and other facilities. In rear the battery had an extensive courtyard, which can be used for parades, etc.
