Observation platform at the top of the battery N6

Initially, the battery was armed with 7 9-inch guns of model 1867 in the casemates. However, with the invention of rifled artillery of additional protection was need. Embrasures were bricked up and the front part and the roof of the battery were covered with massive earth embankment. New guns were installed on the top of the battery behind earth breastworks. The battery has been repeatedly upgraded, most recently in 1913.
The metal platform for observation surrounding landscapes is arranged on the top of the battery. The landscapes are really impressive.
