Streets of Vyshgorod (High Town)

Residential buildings on Tompea Hill. Archaeologists in 1952 established that a fortified settlement at this place had already existed in the 11th AD. It was very convenient place for fortification - there is a cliff on three sides, the southern floor side can be fenced off with a rampart and a palisade.
