Niguliste church - Niguliste kirik

The church was laid down no later than 1316 with the money of German merchants from Gotland and named after St. Nicholas - the patron of travelers and sailors. It was rebuilt in the 15th AD. The church miraculously survived the during the Reformation of 1524, but it suffered a lot in 1944 during WWII. Today it houses a museum and a concert hall, where organ evenings are held.
