Ramparts

The construction of the fortifications of the new Tronzund position was supervised by Rear Admiral A.A. Zorin. The redoubt in the plan has a shape of an irregular pentagon. Its three batteries were designed to accommodate up to 30 guns capable of shelling the Trongsund Strait and the land approaches to the redoubt.
