In February 1940 after the Soviet troops broke through the front line near Summa and their exit to Koivisto town, the battery began to fire to ground targets. On February 25, Soviet units reached the eastern shore of the Vyborg bay, the Finns left for the islands. On March 2, Ravansaari's cannons fired their last salvo at Soviet tanks on the ice near Pukinsari Island. Only 6 shells remained on the battery, one jf it's gun was damaged, the second was dismantled and evacuated.
