Kajsarn tower

This tower has three floors and was built simultaneously with the wall. It is a so-called profanhus or fortified house. Tower stands behind the walls and has arquebus loopholes for firing along the walls.
This part of the wall is called Atterdagsmuren or "Wall of Attertag" after the Danish king Valdemar IV. After the surrender of the city, he demanded that the burghers dismantle the wall, so that he could enter inside, as befits to brutal medieval conqueror. Wall was dismantled, and after notorious Attertag went out, it was restored...
