Church of St. Peter

There are actually two churches nearby - St. Peter and St. Ionann built next to each other. The first one, according to the Gata Saga, was the first Christian church on Gotland built in the 13th century. In 1982, a gravestone of 1050 was found here, that is means, the church here already in the early 11th century, probably not stone, but wooden.
