19th century gun carriage

19th century gun carriage

The carriage is from a Russian 42-line gun of the 1877 model was found spring 2024 on the banks of the Vuoksa and, with great difficulty, delivered to the Kuuterselka Museum. Due to a shortage of artillery, the Finns used everything they received from Tsarist Russia in 1918. The carriage still bears the marking 1879, probably the year of its production.
