Old Gate of the Citadel

The original entrance to the Citadel was located here. In front of this gate there was a drawbridge over a wet moat. The moat was filled in in the 1880s, at the same time a new gate was broken through in the southern wall of the Citadel and the wallwalk atop of its walls was dismantled.
